Like other retirement plans throughout the country, the Public Employees Retirement Association of New Mexico (PERA) is looking at ways to ensure that the benefit we offer is secure for both current and future retirees. Over the past few years, the PERA Board of Trustees has been engaged in an intensive process to better position the Fund and PERA benefit structure for the future.
